Understanding and navigating these restrictions when selecting online textbooks and course materials can be difficult. Traditional publishing models often leave us with limited options, but there are ways you can help us move towards using textbooks that provide more equitable access.

September 18-24 is Banned Books Week 2022, which celebrates the freedom to read and open access to voice and information to all. This year鈥檚 theme is 鈥淏ooks Unite Us. Censorship Divides Us鈥. We've curated a selection of five books from our collection that have been banned or censored at some point in time. We encourage you to borrow them!
