Facilitated by the ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog Library, the Images of Learning and Teaching competition celebrates innovation in learning and teaching at the ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog of Adelaide.

We are seeking photographs that reflect our learning and teaching, and the people that make it happen. We welcome entries from all Faculties that celebrate the diversity, innovation, and creativity of learning and teaching at the ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog of Adelaide.

Entries are open to academic and professional staff and students. First prize wins $1000!

  • Prizes

    In the Teaching category (academic and professional staff eligible):

    The first prize winner will receive $1000 and a certificate;
    The second prize winner will receive $500 and a certificate;
    The third prize winner will receive $250 and a certificate;
    The people’s choice winner will receive $250Ìýand a certificate.

    In the Learning category (students eligible):

    The first prize winner will receive $1000 and a certificate;
    The second prize winner will receive $500 and a certificate;
    The third prize winner will receive $250 and a certificate;
    The people’s choice winner will receive $250Ìýand a certificate.

  • Judging criteria

    The judging panel will review the submissions based on the following criteria:

    â–ª Relevance and impact: The extent to which the photograph reflects or celebrates innovations of learning and teaching at the ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog of Adelaide.
    â–ª Visual appeal: The artistic quality, composition and creativity exhibited in the photograph.
    â–ª Clarity and description: The clarity and coherence of the accompanying blurb in conveying a learning and teaching context and significance of the photograph.

  • Eligibility

    This competition is open to all staff and students of the ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog of Adelaide. For this competition, staff member refers to any academic or professional staff member employed at the ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog during the competition period, in a full-time, part-time, or casual capacity.

    Participants must be 18 years of age or over to enter.

  • Terms and conditions

    All entrants must agree to comply with the Images of Learning and Teaching competition Terms and Conditions.

    If there are people in your photograph, please remember to complete the ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog talent release and copyright agreement form for each person and attach it with your submission.

    Please note: The photograph format must be JPEG or PNG. You must also include a short blurb (up to 250 words) explaining the story behind the photograph, its meaning, and how it reflects or celebrates innovation in learning and teaching at the ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog of Adelaide, plus a list of any software used to edit the entry.
