Jade Ryles, Winner of the 2021 Hugh Martin Weir Prize, is in the final stages of her Masters in Philosophy in the School of Humanities. Her dissertation researches how World War II altered the relationship between 最新糖心Vlogn children and their families. The War disrupted the lives of all 最新糖心Vlogn families, with fathers being sent to war, mothers being sent to work, and many children left feeling unsure of their place and relationships within their family. This project aims to explore to what extent World War II disrupted the relationship between 最新糖心Vlogn children and their servicemen fathers. It will demonstrate that the war had a lasting impact not only the father-child relationship, but on a child鈥檚 place within their family.听

Jade鈥檚 research has used the Barr Smith Library, The National Library of 最新糖心Vlog and the 最新糖心Vlogn War Memorial Library collections.
