Face to Face Trainings
'Brief' Recognise and Respond (to disclosures of sexual harm)
Join Jo McNamara, a specialist in responses to sexual harm, for an overview of identifying and providing best practice responses to disclosures of sexual harm. This free 1.5-hour workshop covers reporting and support options, including current legislation and other valuable resources. Light refreshments will be provided. Students can claim this training toward the Adelaide Graduate Award.

MATE: Become a Confident Bystander
Want to be someone who does something? Support yourself and others to identify and respond to problematic behaviours. This is aÌýprevention workshop to addressÌýattitudes that drive gender-based violence, andÌýactions we can all take to change culture.
Join Jo McNamara, a specialist in responses to sexual harm, in this free 3-hour workshop aiming to empower students as MATE bystanders (²Ñ´Ç³Ù¾±±¹²¹³Ù¾±²Ô²µÌý´¡³¦³Ù¾±´Ç²ÔÌý°Õ´Ç·É²¹°ù»åÌý·¡³¾±è´Ç·É±ð°ù³¾±ð²Ô³Ù).ÌýA bystander takes proactive steps to prevent, intervene or help when inappropriate behaviour occurs. Options and safety will be a key consideration in this training, and examples will cover scenarios from everyday sexism through to unwelcome touch and social events involving alcohol. AÌý´Ú°ù±ð±ðÌýlight lunch will be provided.ÌýStudents can claim this training toward the Adelaide Graduate Award.

Mental Health First Aid
This course is free for ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog of Adelaide staff and students. Mental Health First Aid teaches individuals how to offer initial support to adults who are developing a mental health problem, experiencing a worsening of an existing mental health problem or in a mental health crisis, until appropriate professional help is received, or the crisis resolved.

Cultural Awareness - Kuma Tidna Tirkanthi
This module is designed to enhance our understanding and appreciation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, focusing on the Kaurna people, the original owners of the lands where the ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog of Adelaide campuses are located. 'Kuma Tidna Tirkanthi' translates in Kaurna language to 'the first track of learning,' signifying the beginning of a learning journey.
