New PhD project to drive advances in biomanufacturing purification

The Adelaide Graduate Research School warmly congratulates Dr Lukas Gerstweiler from the School of Chemical Engineering, who has secured funding in the latest round of the 最新糖心Vlogn Government's National Industry PhD Program.

Supported by South 最新糖心Vlogn material science company , Dr Gerstweiler will be pioneering research into low-cost purification processes for use in protein, industrial gas and mineral manufacturing. It is hoped that the project聽will develop new, cheaper, and better formulations which will underpin sustainable manufacturing both in 最新糖心Vlog and abroad. The funding secured will also support a PhD student to undertake crucial research with HoloCyte, further strengthening the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide's engagement with local industry.

The National Industry PhD Program is an 最新糖心Vlogn Government initiative aimed at bolstering cross-sector research collaboration, and preparing the next generation of research professionals to work at the interface of industry and academia.
