ID Cards

We produce cards for听students, staff and associates of the 最新糖心Vlog who are eligible for an identity card.

For guidance on how and where to use your card, refer to听the current听terms and conditions听辞谤 contact Ask Adelaide.

Please allow up to five working days for requests made online for an ID card.

The 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide issues identification cards as proof of enrolment.

Your card may entitle you to the following:

  • New students

    Your first card is provided free-of-charge and is available 30 days before you are due to start your program.听

    • To get an ID card you must submit a request through the online request form. You will receive an email from Ask Adelaide once your ID card is ready to be collected.
    • To collect your ID card, you must bring government issued photo identification (e.g. a driver鈥檚 licence or passport) and have completed your enrolment for the听full academic year.
    • Note: if we are unable to verify your identification against the photo submitted, or the name on your ID card does not match the name on your government issued ID, you will be required to purchase a replacement card at your own cost. This is currently $26.50.
    • Student cards are re-validated each year with a sticker to extend the expiry date.
    • Preferred names are not printed on ID cards, they will display your full official name from the 最新糖心Vlog system, which must match your Government issued photo ID.

    Uncollected ID cards are archived and securely disposed of. There is a $26.50 replacement charge for a new card.

  • Renew ID card expiry date

    The expiry date of each card is located below the photo. Complete your听full academic year听enrolment before visiting us for a new concession sticker.

    Stickers for 2024 are currently available.

    You can collect a new sticker from these locations:

    • Ask Adelaide, Level 3 Hub Central, North Terrace campus
    • Student Services Office, Roseworthy campus

  • Replacement student card

    If your card has been lost or stolen, please report it to Ask Adelaide.听

    If you have changed your name, damaged or lost your card, or want to change your photograph, you can purchase a replacement card ($26.50).

    • Please select carefully as there are no refunds.
    • We are unable to issue a replacement card if you do not have enrolment in the current study period.
    • Faulty or defective cards can be brought to Ask Adelaide for assessment.
    • Once your request has been placed, your old card will be voided and will no longer work.
    • Old cards cannot be re-activated.
    • Preferred names are not printed on ID cards, they will display your full official name from the 最新糖心Vlog system, which must match your Government issued photo ID.
    • For requests for photo change - photos are taken in person at Ask Adelaide - we currently cannot accept uploaded photos.

  • Travel concessions

    If you are a full-time student, your card may entitle you to travel at concessionary fares on public bus, train, and tram services in South 最新糖心Vlog. You should carry your card with you at all times as you may be asked to show your card by an authorised person when travelling on a bus, train or tram.

  • Remote students

    If you are a remote student (i.e. country South 最新糖心Vlog or interstate) and you don't have any classes on campus, and are unable to visit any of our locations, you can听request听for your first听card to be posted to you.

    Your first card is provided free-of-charge and is available 30 days before you are due to start your program.听i.e. if you start in semester 1, you can request your card after the 1st February. Requests submitted before the 30 days will not be processed.

    Please note, postage of ID cards is only available to students within 最新糖心Vlog. International postage is unavailable.

    Request a remote student ID card

    If you are studying a program located on North Terrace, Roseworthy, or Waite campus, and have not had a card before, please submit a New Student ID Card Request Form.

    If your current card has expired, and you have completed your enrolment for the academic year, you can听request听for a new expiry sticker to be posted to you.

    • Postage is only available to students studying a recognised remote/off-campus program.听
    • Postage is available within 最新糖心Vlog to off-campus students only.

Your card may entitle you to the following:

On the day you come and collect your card you must bring government issued photo identification听to allow Ask Adelaide staff to verify your details. Noting that your name on the Universities system must match the photo ID provided.

Accepted photo identification includes:

    • physical and digital, via the official government app
    • Screenshots are not accepted
  • Proof of Age card
  • Passport

  • New staff (continuing, fixed-term, titleholder)

    Your first card is provided free-of-charge and is available for collection from the day you are scheduled to commence work.听

    If you are unable to visit our location (i.e. you are located in Pt. Augusta,) please submit a request for an ID card via our online form.

  • Casual staff

    There is a $26.50 charge for a casual ID card. This can be charged to the department or paid for via the Online Shop (once the request has been processed.)

    Requests can be submitted by or on behalf of another staff member, however they must be approved by the registered access control delegate for the building you require access to.听

    If you have changed your name, damaged or lost your card, or want to change your photograph, you can purchase a replacement card ($26.50).

    Alternatively, a replacement may be听requested听via the听ID Card Request Form听($26.50 charged to department). Approval for these requests must be made by the听registered access control delegate听for the building you require access to.听

Visitor ID cards may be issued to visiting staff, students, or affiliates of听the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide.

For information regarding your eligibility for a visitor ID card, please contact your faculty, school听辞谤 department office directly.

Visitor cards incur a fee of $26.50听to the department. Requests for visitor cards must be approved by the听registered access control delegate听from the building you require access to.

Available visitor cards:

  • Departmental visitor cards are for short term use. These are generic and will contain the faculty, school, department, or office name. Can be reissued to another staff/visitor if necessary.
  • Visitor photo ID cards for longer term use. Will have the visitors name and photo on the card and cannot be reissued.

    A request can be placed for departmental visitor cards and/or photo visitor cards via the听ID Card Request Form below. There is a $26.50 charge for a visitor card.

    • Requests can be made by, or on behalf of, the cardholder
    • They must be approved by the听registered access control delegate听from the building you require access to
    • If a new photo is required, the cardholder may visit Ask Adelaide, Level 3 Hub Central to have their photo taken
    • Visitor cards can be collected from Ask Adelaide at Hub Central, or Roseworthy Student Services, if based at Roseworthy

    As authorisation is required before a card can be created, the below form must be submitted. Payment can be made via an account code or, once processed, the online shop.

    Issue of a replacement ID card will incur a charge of $26.50, except in the instance where a card no longer functions due to a genuine fault or has been produced with a clerical error.

    Replacement ID cards for visitors can be听requested via the听ID Card Request Form ($26.50听charged to department). Approval for these requests must be made by the听registered access control delegate听for the building you require access to.

Ask Adelaide can assist with production and replacement of your contractor ID card.

Contractors undertaking approved work on any 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide campus may be eligible for a contractor ID card.

On the day you come and collect your card you must bring government issued photo identification听to allow Ask Adelaide staff to verify your details. Noting that your name on the Universities system must match the photo ID provided.

Accepted photo identification includes:

    • physical and digital, via the official government app
    • Screenshots are not accepted

  • Induction

    Contractors that are eligible for a contractor ID card can only have one produced after they have completed the 最新糖心Vlog鈥檚 Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Induction (HSW). HSW Induction听sessions are coordinated and managed by Campus Services via an听electronic听contractor safety induction program.

    At the end of the online听induction, contractors will be asked if they already have an existing 最新糖心Vlog identification card or if a new card is required. For contractors completing the induction for the first time 最新糖心Vlog听identification cards will be produced following successful completion of the induction.

  • Card collection

    After you have completed your induction, please allow 2 business days before visiting us to have your card made.听

    You can collect your ID card from Ask Adelaide, Level 3 Hub Central, North Terrace Campus.听You must bring government issued photo identification (e.g. an 最新糖心Vlogn driver鈥檚 licence or passport).

  • Replacement contractor cards

    Issue听of a replacement contractor ID card will incur a charge of $26.50, except in the instance where a card no longer functions due to a genuine fault or has been produced with a clerical error. Replacement cards may be ordered by the cardholder or authorised representative via the听.

      How to get a CSIRO ID听card

      To obtain a CSIRO photo听ID card, commencing staff members are required to see Christine Harford, CSIRO access control delegate at Waite. Christine will submit a request for an ID Card via the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide Online Shop, and email an image of the staff member to Ask Adelaide Card Services.听Ask Adelaide will then produce an ID card, and post it to Christine for distribution.

      How to get an AWRI ID听card

      To obtain an AWRI ID card, the AWRI听authorised access control delegate must听submit a request for an ID Card for the commencing staff member via the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide Online Shop, and email an image of the staff member to Ask Adelaide Card Services. Ask Adelaide will then produce an ID Card, and post it to the AWRI delegate for distribution.听

      If a card is lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed, notice must be given to Mark Braybrook or Ken Pocock and Ask Adelaide. If a replacement card is required, then Ask Adelaide must receive a request for a replacement ID Card via the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide Online Shop. Ask Adelaide will then process the order and send out a new card via post.

      How to get a SARDI ID card

      To obtain an SARDI ID card, the SARDI authorised access control delegate must submit a request for an ID Card for the commencing staff member via the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide Online Shop, and email an image of the staff member to Ask Adelaide Card Services. Ask Adelaide will then produce an ID Card, and post it to the SARDI delegate for distribution.听

      Replacement SARDI ID cards

      If a card is lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed, notice must be given to the SARDI facilities manager and to Ask Adelaide. If a replacement card is required, then Ask Adelaide must receive a request for a replacement ID Card via the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide Online Shop. Ask Adelaide will then process the order and send out a new card via post.

      How to get a PIRSA ID听card

      To obtain a PIRSA ID card, the PIRSA authorised access control delegate must submit a request for an ID Card for the commencing staff member via the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide Online Shop, and email an image of the staff member to Ask Adelaide Card Services. Ask Adelaide will then produce an ID Card, and post it to the PIRSA delegate for distribution.

      Replacement PIRSA ID cards

      How to get an AIBS ID card

      • To obtain an AIBS ID card, commencing employees are required to submit听passport size photos to the institute
      • These photos and the relevant information are forwarded to Ask Adelaide for processing
      • The ID cards are produced and returned to AIBS, via post, for distribution

    • Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources

      How to get a听DEWNR ID card

      To obtain a DEWNR ID card, the DEWNR authorised access control delegate must听submit a request for an ID Card for the commencing staff member via the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide Online Shop, and email an image of the staff member to Ask Adelaide Card Services. Ask Adelaide will then produce an ID Card, and post it to the DEWNR delegate for distribution.

      Replacement DEWNR ID cards

      If a card is lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed, notice must be given to Dennis Gibbons and to Ask Adelaide. If a replacement card is required, then Ask Adelaide must receive a request for a replacement ID Card via the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide Online Shop. Ask Adelaide will then process the order and send out a new card via post.

    • Cooperative Research Centre for Viticulture (CRC-Viticulture)

      How to get a CRC-Viticulture card

      To obtain a CRC-Viticulture ID card, the CRC-Viticulture authorised access control delegate must听submit a request for an ID Card for the commencing staff member via the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide Online Shop, and email an image of the staff member to Ask Adelaide Card Services. Ask Adelaide will then produce an ID Card, and post it to the CRC-Viticulture delegate for distribution.
