Free MATE Bystander / Culture Change – Preventing Sexual Harm Workshop

Student Leaders at the ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog of Adelaide are invited to join Sexual Violence Specialist Jo McNamara, in an empowering interactive workshop exploring what it means to be an active bystander.

This free 3-hour workshop will work through:
- What it means to be an active bystander including some of the barriers to taking action
- The drivers for gender-based violence and gender stereotypes
- Scenarios, discussion points and information on sexual assault and harassment; and
- Building hope for change

This workshop aims to empower you to address problematic behaviour, feel more confident in what you might be able to do in certain situations and know you have options for action.

The MATE program aims to teach us all to be leaders in the prevention of sexual harm.

The next workshop is on Monday 17th July from 9:30am to 12:30pm.
