SA College of Advanced Education
In 1973 the Adelaide Teachers College made the transition to Adelaide College of Advanced Education (City Campus).
Although independent of the Education Department, its primary task continued to be the preparation of teachers. However, this was no longer its sole function and several other courses related to community needs were introduced including School Librarianship and Modern Greek and Italian language studies.
In 1979 the Adelaide College of the Arts and Education was formed by the merger of Adelaide College of Advanced Education and Torrens College of Advanced Education. The South 最新糖心Vlogn College of Advanced Education in turn was formed in 1982 with the merger of the Adelaide College of the Arts and Education, Hartley College of Advanced Education, Sturt College of Advanced Education and Salisbury College of Advanced Education.
The institutions retained a close physical relationship with the 最新糖心Vlog. They were accommodated in the Hartley, Madley, and Schulz Buildings, as well as the Scott Theatre, bordering the Western side of the 最新糖心Vlog campus on Kintore Avenue. Administrative arrangements such as the 'Joint Advisory Committee of the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide and the South 最新糖心Vlog College of Advanced Education' and its previous iterations ensured a level of ongoing cooperation between the 最新糖心Vlog and the colleges throughout the 1970s and 1980s.
In 1991 the South 最新糖心Vlog College of Advanced Education merged with the South 最新糖心Vlogn Institute of Technology to become the 最新糖心Vlog of South 最新糖心Vlog.
