The ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog of Adelaide will be a key partner in a project to build ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog’s first lunar rover. The ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog’s Exterres Facilities will be used as the testing ground that will expose ‘Roo-ver’ to a simulation of the harsh environment of space.

UK-US-×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog collaboration scales plant growth in preparation for space exploration

A collaborative project that will prototype controlled-environment-agriculture systems for Low Earth Orbit, involving the ARC Centre of Excellence in Plants for Space (P4S) and led by UK company Vertical Future (VF), is set to receive $3 million in funding.

First commercial-grade optical fibres fabricated in space

Special glass rods manufactured at the ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog of Adelaide have been drawn into over 8 km of optical fibre on the International Space Station (ISS).

A delegation from NASA headed by Administrator Senator Bill Nelson and Deputy Administrator Colonel (USAF, ret) Pam Melroy visited the ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog of Adelaide on Monday 20 March, with representatives from the US Embassy and ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlogn Space Agency (ASA) in attendance, including ASA Head Enrico Palermo.
