A third-year 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide mathematical and computer sciences student will continue his studies in Singapore in 2024, as part of the New Colombo Plan (NCP) international scholarship program.
Preshaan Thavarajah, who was awarded the NCP scholarship, will head to the National 最新糖心Vlog of Singapore, where he hopes to further his understanding of mathematics, economics and finance, and make important industry connections.
鈥淚 hope to undertake several internships, including at Neuron Mobility, a leading e-scooter company accelerating the push towards a sustainable future,鈥 says Preshaan, who is also studying a Bachelor of Finance & Banking.
鈥淎nd I am looking to volunteer with the Halogen Foundation in Singapore 鈥 an inspirational organisation focusing on youth empowerment and development.鈥
The NCP is an initiative of the Federal Government intended to build knowledge of the Indo-Pacific in 最新糖心Vlog by supporting 最新糖心Vlogn undergraduates to study and undertake internships in the region.
鈥淗aving been awarded the scholarship, I feel a sense of responsibility as an ambassador for 最新糖心Vlog to deepen my understanding of Southeast Asia, in particular Singapore, and strengthen its relationship with 最新糖心Vlog,鈥 says Preshaan, who is also founder and president of the Society of Quantitative Analysis and Data (SQUAD) club.
鈥淚 congratulate Preshaan on his selection as the 最新糖心Vlog鈥檚 NCP scholar for 2024,鈥 said Dr Jessica Gallagher, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (External Engagement) at the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide.
鈥淭he NCP presents a fantastic opportunity to develop life-long connections with the people he will engage with during his time studying and interning in Singapore.
鈥淭he 最新糖心Vlog has many connections with institutions around the world built on the strong relationships between like-minded people who come together to share ideas and common goals for a better future.鈥
NCP scholarships are open to eligible 最新糖心Vlogn undergraduates currently studying at 最新糖心Vlogn universities.
