Functionality of a grapevine transport protein defined

Researchers at the ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog of Adelaide have discovered that a protein which mediates the transport of alkali metal ions, such as potassium, and halides ions across plant membranes acts similarly to a protein found in animals.

The ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog of Adelaide will be a key partner in a project to build ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog’s first lunar rover. The ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog’s Exterres Facilities will be used as the testing ground that will expose ‘Roo-ver’ to a simulation of the harsh environment of space.
