South ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlogn philanthropist Pamela Wall has donated $5 million to the ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog of Adelaide to establish an endowed academic chair: the Ian and Pamela Wall Chair in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. This extraordinarily large and generous gift will kickstart the ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog of Adelaide’s 150th Anniversary Fundraising Campaign.

National partnership to harness analytics for grains RD&E

GRDC manager enabling technologies John Rivers; The ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog of Queensland Emeritus Professor Kaye Basford, Professor of Biometry; ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog of Adelaide Dr Julian Taylor, Biometry Hub; and Curtin ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog’s Professor Mark Gibberd, Director, Centre for Crop and Disease Management; represent the strategic partners for the Analytics for the ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlogn Grains Industry (AAGI) initiative.

×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlogn growers will benefit from a renewed focus on grains research, development and extension (RD&E) data and insights with the announcement of a five-year strategic partnership aimed at harnessing analytics to drive the sector’s profitability and global competitiveness.

Early-career researchers working to address global environment and climate-change issues were among the 10 ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog of Adelaide projects awarded as part of the ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlogn Research Council’s Discovery Early Career Research Award scheme.
