  • Information on the Laser dissection microscope Leica LMD7

Leica鈥檚 flagship LMD7 laser microdissection system uses a focused laser beam for contact- and contamination-free dissection of single cells or cell groups. Downstream applications include proteomics, or PCR for DNA or RNA analysis. The Leica LMD7 is an upright microscope with non-contact sample collection by gravity.聽

The Explorer 349 nm laser is a maintenance-free, long life diode pumped solid state laser, adjustable for laser pulse frequency (10-5000Hz), aperture, offset and power with a maximum pulse energy of 120 碌J. The laser beam is guided via optics for high cutting speed and precision independent of the stage. The microscope is equipped with fluorescence, and DFC700T camera.
