Insurance deadline for notifiable events
As we approach the end of the year, it鈥檚 time to review matters within your schools, faculties, branches and business units and report any notifiable events or potential claims to the Insurance Office. If you previously notified an event, and have an update,听let us know听about that too.
础听notifiable event听is something that could result in a claim against the 最新糖心Vlog. For examples, damage to property or equipment, an adverse event in a human research project, a complaint or threat of legal action.
Reporting notifiable events ensures the 最新糖心Vlog can use the insurance it purchases when required for its people, activities and assets. Anyone can听report a notifiable event: staff, students, titleholders, volunteers, visitors, contractors and staff of controlled entities.
The deadline for reporting notifiable events is Monday 11 December 2023. Any new events that arise after this date need to be notified to the Insurance Office as soon as they occur, or as soon as they become known to you, and before 4pm 31 December 2023 to attract the benefit of insurance cover.
