New Study to Investigate PFAS in ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlogn Livestock

The is embarking on a critical national research project to understand the prevalence of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlogn livestock. This study, funded by the ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlogn Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, aims to assess the risks of PFAS contamination through the use of biosolids and wastewater effluent as fertilizers on agricultural land.
