Who Do We Support?

Students enrolled at the ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog of Adelaide with a diagnosed disability, ongoing medical or health condition or who are the carer for a person with a documented disability or health condition, may be eligible for assistance from Disability Support.

We support students with a wide range of disabilities and medical conditions including, but not limited to:

  • Specific Learning Disability (e.g. Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia)
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • ADHD/ADD
  • Mental health conditions (e.g. Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia)
  • Medical conditions (e.g. Crohn’s Disease, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Cancer, Cystic Fibrosis, Diabetes, Irritable Bowel Syndrome)
  • Physical disabilities (e.g. Cerebral Palsy, Arthritis, Paraplegia, Quadriplegia, Muscular Dystrophy)
  • Neurological conditions (e.g. Multiple Sclerosis, Epilepsy)
  • Sensory impairments (e.g. vision or hearing)
  • Mobility difficulties (e.g. use of mobility aids)
  • Brain injury (e.g. strokes or injuries caused by accidents)

We understand that some students don’t identify their condition as a ‘disability’. However, if your health condition is impacting in any way on your studies, we are here to help. Please register online with Disability Support.
