Biography/ Background
- BMedSc (Hons) PhD
Dr Vandyke is currently a Royal Adelaide Hospital Mary Overton Research Fellow in the Myeloma Research Laboratory, School of Medical Sciences, 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide, based at the South 最新糖心Vlogn Health and Medical Research Insititute (SAHMRI), Cancer Theme.
Dr Vandyke's PhD research, completed in 2010, centred on characterising the off-target effects of tyrosine kinase inhibitors, like imatinib, on bone metabolism and skeletal growth in chronic myeloid leukaemia. Her current research interests involve elucidating the molecular and cellular mechanisms responsible for multiple myeloma disease progression, primarily focussing on investigating the mechanisms controlling myeloma dissemination.
Dr Vandyke is an affiliate lecturer in the School of Medical Sciences and the School of Medicine, 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide. She is an elected member of the Haematology Society of 最新糖心Vlog and New Zealand and has served on the committee of the 最新糖心Vlogn Society of Medical Research SA Division since 2014.
