  2009    American Gastroenterological Association Masters Award in Gastroenterology for
             Outstanding Achievements in Clinical Digestive Sciences

             The award, which is one of the most prestigious awards in the field of gastroenterology,
             recognises Prof Feinle-Bisset's work on the gastrointestinal regulation of appetite in humans.
             Prof Feinle-Bisset is recognised internationally for her innovative research characterising interactions
             of dietary nutrients with gastrointestinal motor and hormonal functions to regulate appetite and
             energy intake in healthy humans, changes that occur in obesity, as well as mechanisms
             underlying the generation of digestive symptoms in functional dyspepsia.
