CET Research Day 2024
The Centre for Energy Technologies Annual Research Day, will build on the success of previous such events.

Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided,Ìýfollowed by ISER/CET Chistmas DrinksÌýand a chance to networkÌýwith invited industry guests 5.30-7.30pm.Ìý

The interactive program will have a wide selection of guest speakers from Industry, UOA staff and UniSA staff and the event is also attended by many of the CET Advisory Board who will be available for questions.

2024 Poster CompetitionÌý
The poster session will be run as a competitive process with Best Poster Certificates awarded and a prize for Best Overall Poster. Supervisors, it would be appreciated if you could encourage your postgraduate students and postdoctoral fellows to get involved.Ìý
Postgraduate and post-doctoral researchers are invited to submit a ‘poster’ in the form of a 1-minute PowerPoint video slide no larger than 20mb in size. Video posters will be loaded to a dedicated web page on the CET Research Day web site. Entrants will be asked not to include any IP sensitive material, however it is requested that students get permission from their supervisors emailed to Woei Saw (woei.saw@adelaide.edu.au), before the posters are loaded on to the site.Ìý
A team of CET judges will make a shortlist of 12 posters to be presented at CET Research Day to an industry panel, in a judging process that will occur at the event. Winners will be announced at the end of the day.Ìý
Students and postdocs, who have been selected to be part of the program will be asked to bring a hardcopy of their poster to speak to our judges on the day. Poster awards will be given in postgraduate student and ECR categories, with the Best Overall poster in either category winning a free 3-day registration to attend HiTeMP-4 and to present a poster at the Forum.Ìý
Submissions toÌýcet@adelaide.edu.auÌýFiles larger than 15mb can be sent viaÌý; – noting that files must not exceed 20mb for inclusion on the ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog of Adelaide website.Ìý
Please note that all video poster submissions must be received to the email above by Friday 29th November 2024 to be eligible to enter the competition.Ìý
Annual CET PrizesÌý
The Centre for Energy Technology is pleased to continue its three annual awards (Best Contribution to Research Quality; Best Contribution to Clean Energy Technology Development, & Best CET Team Player) to recognise and laud the significant achievements of its members, with a focus on PhD students and early career researchers. Please feel free to nominate yourself or others in these categories (see attached nomination form):Ìý

Prizes are open to all CET members, noting the focus on post-graduate students and early career researchers. The merits of each nomination will be assessed relative to the career experience of each individual, e.g. a post-doctoral researcher will need to achieve more than a PhD student.Ìý
