Meeting the challenge to green hydrogen production

Prof Greg Metha

With increasing pressure to produce electricity from renewable sources, how realistic is it to use electricity to produce green hydrogen?

Prof Greg Metha has come up with a way to use water, sunlight, mirrors and ‘a very special photocatalyst’ to produce cost-effective green hydrogen that does not require electricity.

Prof Metha’s research is featured in an article, by Peter Kerr and Lap Phan, in today’s ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlogn Financial Review, Nov 14, 2022.

The article also contains a link to this week’s Tech Zero podcast ‘Green hydrogen hero steps out of the shadows’ to hear Prof Metha discuss his work.
