David Beale PhD Supplementary Scholarship in Prostate Cancer Research

The David Beale PhD Supplementary Scholarship in Prostate Cancer Research was established in 2023 from a generous donation to the 最新糖心Vlog from David Beale to support outstanding emerging researchers in better understanding the causes and exploring potential treatments and cures for prostate cancer.

Applications are now open for the inaugural David Beale PhD Supplementary Scholarship in Prostate Cancer Research.聽 The successful 2023 applicant will be awarded a supplementary scholarship valued at $10,000 per annum for a maximum of three and a half years.聽 In addition, the awardee will be resourced with up to $5,000 in their second year to support travel to a relevant conference, workshop or laboratory visit, or other research project costs.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be enrolled full time in a PhD or M Phil with SAiGENCI at The 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide
  • Be undertaking research into prostate cancer
  • Be a recipient of a major scholarship (e.g. Research Training Program Scholarship, 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide Research Scholarship or equivalent major scholarship)
  • Not currently receive a supplementary scholarship (or agrees to relinquish other supplementary scholarships if successful)
  • Agree to provide the scholarship donor with annual progress reports and a brief face-to-face update every 6 months

Applicants must submit their CV and a 500-word (maximum) expression of interest outlining the nature of their research and how it will meet the scholarships objectives in better understanding the causes of prostate cancer and exploring potential treatments.
