Fossil discovery rewrites history of modern human arrival in Europe

An international research team including scientists from the ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog of Adelaide has found evidence of human occupation in Europe almost 10,000 years earlier than previously documented, a discovery that stands to rewrite modern human and Neanderthal histories on the continent.

A NASA grant of more than US$ 300,000 (AUD $410,000) has been awarded to an international team led by Distinguished Professor Mary Droser from the ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog of California–Riverside and Associate Professor Diego C. García-Bellido from the ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog of Adelaide’s Environment Institute, and the South ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlogn Museum.
