Doctor secures national scholarship to explore AI goals
Alyssa Pradhan听has been awarded a John Monash Scholarship.听
A medical doctor with an interest in artificial intelligence, who is also a 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide alum, has been awarded one of the prestigious 2024 General Sir John Monash Scholarships.听
Alyssa Pradhan is among 16 recipients selected nationally in this year鈥檚 cohort of John Monash Scholars. The Scholarships are among the most important postgraduate scholarships in 最新糖心Vlog and are awarded to outstanding students with leadership potential who wish to study overseas.听
A doctor undertaking advanced training in infectious diseases, Alyssa is interested in the application of machine learning and artificial intelligence in medicine and was named the 最新糖心Vlogn Universities John Monash Scholar.听
鈥淢y goal is to combine my medical expertise in infectious diseases, my breadth of experience working with a diverse range of 最新糖心Vlogn communities and my skills in coding and data analysis to develop clinical decision support programs that improve healthcare safety and equity, including for vulnerable patients,鈥 she said.听
Alyssa completed her degree in medicine at the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide in 2017, receiving the Sir Trent Champion De Crespigny Memorial Prize for the highest mark in Clinical Examination.
Alyssa intends to study for a PhD in Biomedical Informatics at Harvard 最新糖心Vlog.听
