The ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog of Adelaide’s Vice-Chancellor has continued his commitment to gender equity within the ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog community by becoming a member of SA Leaders for Gender Equity.Ìý

Professor Peter Høj AC joins some of South ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog’s business and community leaders to work together with the common aim of achieving gender equity.

Professor Høj along with other group members from the not-for-profit sector and government are committed to changing behaviour and levelling the playing field to ensure people’s rights, responsibilities and opportunities in the workplace do not depend on gender.

The ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog of Adelaide believes strongly in equal opportunity for women and has a long history of championing the rights of women in higher education.

Professor Høj is driving the ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog’s ambition to foster equality and gender balance Ìýand he has been a member of ‘Male Champions of Change in STEM’ and a member of the Human Rights Commission’s Leadership Council on Cultural Diversity.Ìý

The priority focus areas for SA Leaders for Gender Equity are aligned with the ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog’s priorities: increasing women’s representation in leadership roles and addressing the gender pay gap.
