Free public lecture: Mental health of young ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlogns
Who has responsibility for the mental health of young ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlogns?
That’s the question being posed at a free public online lecture by one of ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog’s leading experts in the field of child and adolescent mental health.
Emeritus Professor Michael Sawyer (Adelaide School of Medicine, ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog of Adelaide) will deliver the 16th annual Healthy Development Adelaide (HDA) Oration.
His oration will describe what we know about the prevalence and nature of mental health problems experienced by young ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlogns during the last 20 years. It will also discuss several population-level interventions that have attempted to reduce the prevalence of mental health problems experienced by children and adolescents in ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog.
Professor Sawyer will consider who has ultimate responsibility for helping the many children and adolescents in ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog who are currently experiencing mental health problems.
