Friends of the Library author event - Lisa Slade, Assistant Director Art Gallery SA on her book - Tom Moore: Abundant Wonder

Lisa Slade presents on leading ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlogn glass artist Tom Moore - of Adelaide JamFactory and widely staged exhibitions and happenings. His engaging, sophisticated and technically challenging hybridised animal/plant sculptures - and the fantastical worlds they inhabit - are embedded in the history of glassmaking and scientific discovery. His vitreous bestiary series was inspired by curious images in the famous 15th century Nuremberg Chronicle of which the Library has a facsimile to be displayed.
