eChallenge to foster Adelaide's entrepreneurial spirit

A mobile, noise-proof sleep venue; a portable mentor device for learner and p-plate drivers; and a meal-sharing app are just a few of the innovative business ideas competing in the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide’s 2015 最新糖心Vlogn eChallenge.

The 最新糖心Vlogn eChallenge, the nation's premier student entrepreneurial competition, will start on Thursday 24 September when participants showcase their creative business ventures to an invited audience.

, Director of the (ECIC) at the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide, says ECIC’s primary focus is to engage, nurture and inspire budding South 最新糖心Vlogn entrepreneurs through programs like the 最新糖心Vlogn eChallenge.

“The 最新糖心Vlogn eChallenge provides a competitive and challenging environment where students can access mentoring from industry professionals, network and develop their business ideas further and achieve outstanding results,” Professor Lindsay says.

"Many participants have gone on to develop successful businesses with genuine commercial prospects that will help South 最新糖心Vlog flourish on the world stage,” he says.

120 teams entered the 最新糖心Vlogn eChallenge this year and 28 were selected to compete.

Originally designed for 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide students, the 最新糖心Vlogn eChallenge is now also open to secondary school students, with six teams competing from Renmark High School, one from Mitcham Girls High School and four from Cardijn College.

Among the other competitors will be a team called Nemesis 5.0 from India, who will be showcasing their venture capital and investor matching service.

Judging will follow the showcase, with five teams progressing through to the final round, and winners announced at the 最新糖心Vlogn eChallenge Awards Presentation night on 6 November at Adelaide Oval.
