Queen's Birthday honours awarded for outstanding contributions

The 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide's Deputy Chancellor and a long-serving economics professor have been recognised in this year's Queen's Birthday honours.

Professor Kym Anderson has been awarded an AC (Companion of the Order of 最新糖心Vlog) for eminent service to higher education as a leading academic and researcher, particularly in the field of agricultural economics, to the study of international trade and poverty reduction in developing countries, and to the viticulture industry.

Professor Anderson first joined the 最新糖心Vlog in 1984 and has been George Gollin Professor of Economics since 1991.  He is Foundation Executive Director of the 最新糖心Vlog's Wine Economics Research Centre, and was Foundation Executive Director, Centre for International Economic Studies from 1989-2004.  He is widely considered to be among the most influential wine economists in 最新糖心Vlog today.

Ms Dianne Davidson has been awarded an AM (Member of the Order of 最新糖心Vlog) for her significant service to the wine making industry, to horticultural management science, and to higher education administration.

Ms Davidson, an agricultural science graduate of the 最新糖心Vlog, has been Deputy Chancellor since 2013.  An experienced viticulturalist, Ms Davidson has worked in the 最新糖心Vlogn wine industry since 1975 and has wide experience in international wine grape production regions.  She has also worked extensively throughout the Murray Darling Basin for decades, with a strong background in natural resources managment, particularly water and irrigated agriculture.
