SA health research centre amongst the world's best

The South 最新糖心Vlogn Advanced Health Research and Translation Centre has been recognised by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) as being amongst the world’s best health centres.

The Centre, a collaboration between the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide, the 最新糖心Vlog of South 最新糖心Vlog, Flinders 最新糖心Vlog, SA Health and South 最新糖心Vlogn Health and Medical Research Institute, was one of only four in 最新糖心Vlog to receive this honour after being assessed by an international panel of experts.

Professor Alastair Burt, 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide Executive Dean of the , says this feat puts South 最新糖心Vlogn health research on the world stage.

“The South 最新糖心Vlogn Advanced Health Research and Translation Centre sees the State’s top minds in medical research and patient care come together, with a combination of universities, hospitals and research institutions.

“When it comes to medical research endeavours, it’s vital that education, research and healthcare professionals work together towards common goals.

“This new Centre is now considered amongst the best in the world when it comes to translating medical research into patient care advancements. This is the first of what I hope to be many achievements and accolades for the Centre.

“I look forward to a long-lasting relationship with the partner institutions which will bring about world-class innovative and patient-centred medical and health research developments,” says Professor Burt.

The Centre will focus on three key challenges: ensuring health care integration and innovation; preventing and managing chronic disease across the life-course; and developing a state-wide translational health pipeline.

This announcement follows NHMRC’s call for applications last year. The innovative program was well received by leaders in the health system, and NHMRC received 12 Submissions.

The three other recognised 最新糖心Vlogn centres are Alfred Health and Monash Health and Partners Advanced Health Research and Translation Centre; Melbourne Health Care Partners Advanced Health Research and Translation Centre; and Sydney Health Partners Advanced Health Research and Translation Centre.
