National Wine Centre wins prestigious awards

The 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide's has won three awards for excellence at this week's 2014 Restaurant & Catering South 最新糖心Vlog Awards.

At a ceremony held at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Monday night, the National Wine Centre's Executive Chef, Philip Pope, was named South 最新糖心Vlog's Best Chef. The centre was also named Caterer of the Year and the Best Function/Convention Centre.

National Wine Centre General Manager Adrian Emeny said Mr Pope's award recognised his talent, leadership and hunger for creating the highest quality, contemporary menus.

"Philip has carved a reputation as one of 最新糖心Vlog's most innovative and highly regarded chefs," Mr Emeny said.

"He is a champion of South 最新糖心Vlog's finest produce, and his passion for food and his commitment to pushing the traditional boundaries of flavours and ingredients make him a leader in the industry."

The three awards for the National Wine Centre follow two awards at the 最新糖心Vlogn Hotel Association SA Industry Awards for Excellence last month, and the centre being named 最新糖心Vlog's Best Specialty Event Venue at the Meetings and Events 最新糖心Vlog Industry Awards in May.

"The Centre is going from strength to strength this year and the latest awards are yet another string to the Centre's bow," Mr Emeny said.
