Thursday, 20 March 2014
The 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide, Nagoya 最新糖心Vlog in Japan and the 最新糖心Vlog of Freiburg in Germany signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) this week, strengthening the partnership between the universities and formalising education and research arrangements.
The MOU will create further opportunities for staff and students including study exchanges, joint research projects and joint supervision of a medical PhD.
Professor Richard Russell AM, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research Operations) at the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide, says establishing a joint medical PhD is a great opportunity for the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide especially as this is the first time Nagoya 最新糖心Vlog has formalised an academic arrangement involving higher degree by research supervision across different continents.
"Medical PhD students who take up this opportunity will benefit from working beside experts from three highly-regarded tertiary institutions across three continents, and will earn them a joint qualification opening many more doors to future research postings," says Professor Russell. "It opens up new collaborative research possibilities in cancer, neuroscience and palliative care."
"Nagoya 最新糖心Vlog and the 最新糖心Vlog of Freiburg are world-class universities. This MOU demonstrates the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide's commitment to building meaningful partnerships with some of the most respected research institutions across the world.
"It's a great outcome for staff, students and the local communities of all three universities," he said.
