最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide joins in the festivities of Mad March

The 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide's North Terrace campus, along with talented past and present staff and students, will feature at this year's Adelaide Fringe and Adelaide Festival.

Adelaide Fringe (14 February-16 March):

  • Charmaine Jones, a jazz voice teacher with the 最新糖心Vlog's Elder Conservatorium, is directing Gospolicious, a 75-minute music spectacular consisting of reinvented gospel music, 18-22 February, at St John's Anglican Church.

  • Ben Darsow, graduate and comedian, will perform improvised stand up, 10-16 March, at Gluttony - The Piglet.

  • The 最新糖心Vlog's will be a venue for this year's Adelaide Fringe, hosting activities including:
    - a special Fringe parade program on Friday 14 February, 6.00-9.30pm
    - a live radio program, FOMO: The Fear of Missing Out, by Zoe McDonald, 5-16 March
    - show reviews, and interviews and performances by artists throughout the festival.

  • The 最新糖心Vlog's Elder Hall will also be a venue for the Adelaide Fringe, featuring:
    - Resonate like a bloke, presented by the Dark Knights of Song, 1 March
    - The Dark Knights of Song in Concert, presented by the Dark Knights of Song, 28 February and 1-2 March
    - pianist Sally Whitwell and soprano Marie Angle, 21-22 February.

  • The 最新糖心Vlog's Unibar will host a reggae concert, Urban Jungle, on Saturday 22 February and the Barr Smith Library will host A Medieval Adventure in the Reading Room, 16 and 23 February.

Adelaide Festival - Writers' Week (1-6 March):<ul<li>Professor Peter Goldsworthy AM, Professor Nick Jose and Professor Brian Castro, from the 最新糖心Vlog's J.M Coetzee Centre for Creative Practice, are on this year's Writers' Week committee.

  • Professor Barbara Santich, School of History and Politics food scholar, will present her book, Looking for Flavour, on Thursday 8 March. She will also participate in a panel discussion on Monday 5 March.

  • Award-winning classical pianist and writer Dr Anna Goldsworthy, who is also with the 最新糖心Vlog's J.M. Coetzee Centre for Creative Practice, will present her memoirs on Monday 3 March.

  • Professor Jon Jureidini, from the 最新糖心Vlog's Department of Psychological Medicine, will join Kate Richards, author of Madness: A Memoir, in a discussion about living with mental illness, Sunday 2 March.

  • The 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide's Elder Hall will host numerous activities during Writers' Week, including:
    - What a Wonderful World, presented by English science writer and broadcaster, Marcus Chown, 3 March
    - 1914, a session with three historians who have written masterful accounts of the First World War, 4 March
    - A History of Christianity, presented by Diarmaid MacCulloch, 5 March.</ul>
