Free admission to Wine Centre extended

Friday, 10 October 2003

Free entry to the National Wine Centre's public exhibition is proving a success, prompting an extension of free entry until November 1.

The 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide introduced free entry from September 22, originally for three weeks. That was due to expire this weekend (Sunday, October 12), but an increase in public interest will see an extension of free entry to the widely respected Wine Discovery Journey until the end of the month.

The interpretive centre, which is now being used as a role model for complexes of a similar nature around the world, allows visitors to make their own "virtual wine" on touch screen computers and instantly receive feedback and be awarded medals on their achievements. They can also hear from winemakers, chefs and wine critics through hologram images, again using cutting-edge technology.

Visitors can also relax in the wine tasting and caf茅 area, and view displays of art works from home grown artists that can be purchased onsite.

The 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide has now commenced wine courses at the centre, with this unique environment being used to teach the new generation of winemakers.

The National Wine Centre is open daily to the public from 10am - 5pm.
