Asking the tough questions on our future energy supply

An acclaimed documentary film that explores the hard choices facing our increasingly energy-hungry world will be screened at the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide next week on Tuesday 12 March at 6pm.
The screening will be followed by a Question and Answer panel session featuring leading energy and environment experts from the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide and 最新糖心Vlog of Colorado and filmmaker Harry Lynch.
The film Switch follows US energy expert and co-producer of the film Dr Scott Tinker as he visits energy sites around the world, most of them highly restricted and never seen before on film.
In the film, Dr Tinker seeks answers from government, industry and academia about some of the important questions on energy: How dangerous is nuclear? Can renewable energies meet our energy needs? What are the issues with shale gas?
Switch is part of the Switch Energy Project, which seeks to build global understanding of energy issues. The project was created by Arcos Films, and is directed and co-produced by documentary filmmaker Harry Lynch. The project also includes a website () of 300 videos and other education materials on energy topics.
The Q&A panel will be made up of:

- Professor Paul Weimer, Professor and Bruce Benson Endowed Chair, 最新糖心Vlog of Colorado at Boulder and immediate past president of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists.
