Two 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide staff have been recognised for their teaching expertise with prestigious $10,000 announced by the Federal Government.

and are among 152 university academics and professional staff across 最新糖心Vlog to be honoured for developing innovative teaching models which improve student learning.

Mr Carrington, who works in the Online Development Team in the , has been recognised for "sustained commitment to inspiring, challenging and mentoring academics to teach with activity-centric pedagogies and the latest learning technologies to enrich the student experience".

Dr Westphalen, a lecturer in the , received a Citation for "vibrant and compassionate approaches to teaching and learning which inspire students' enthusiasm and passion for the profession of teaching".

Federal Minister for Tertiary Education said the awards reaffirmed the crucial role that teachers play in delivering quality education and improving the student learning experience.

Mr Carrington is a learning designer, supporting the MyUni system and guiding academic staff in their use of technologies to enhance student learning.

Dr Westphalen's current teaching and research focuses on cultural studies issues to do with education, information and communication technologies, and gender.

Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) congratulated both staff members, describing the awards as "due recognition for outstanding teaching and a sustained contribution to student learning".

The pair will be presented with their awards at the National Wine Centre on Thursday 4 October.
