Uni offers will boost access to quality education

As university offers go out around the state tonight, the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide will have made 5939 offers to date for places in its undergraduate degree programs. This is compared with 5450 offers at the same time last year - almost a 9% increase.
Students can check whether they have been made a first-round 最新糖心Vlog offer via the from 6.00pm tonight, in a special edition of The Advertiser at 9.30pm tonight and in tomorrow's paper, or wait to receive a letter mailed to them this afternoon.
"At the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide, we are committed to providing the best educational opportunities possible for students who deserve them, regardless of their socio-economic status, location or other disadvantage," says the Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor James McWha.
Over the past five years, the 最新糖心Vlog's number of first-round offers has grown by almost 1100 - an increase of more than 22%.
"By offering more opportunities to study at university, we will help to boost the number of graduates in our society, which in turn will help to better meet the country's strategic needs," Professor McWha says.
"Access to quality education and increased participation in education are critical issues for the future of our state and the nation. We genuinely believe that our graduates make a huge cultural, economic, scientific, environmental, and health impact on society."
Offers have increased in a number of key programs for 2012, such as the Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Health Sciences and Bachelor of Science.
Medicine continues to be the most popular program at the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide, with 2163 first-preference applications made for the Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery, which has limited places available.
Even after making a record number of offers, the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide will continue to accept late applications for some degree programs. Places are still available in a wide range of fields, including: Economics, Commerce, Arts, and Social Sciences.
