Public lecture tackles war in Iraq

A free public lecture being held at the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide will hear from a senior politician on the threat of war in Iraq.
Senator Nick Bolkus, ALP Senator for South 最新糖心Vlog, will speak on "The Probable War in Iraq" at the university's Napier Building at 6.00pm Monday, March 10.
Senator Bolkus is a Law graduate of the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide and has been a Senator since 1980. He has served as a Minister in the Hawke and Keating governments, including Minister for Immigration and Ethnic Affairs and Minister Assisting the Prime Minister for Multicultural Affairs.
He has also served on Senate and Parliamentary committees including Foreign Affairs and Defence, was Chair of the Senate Standing Committee on Constitutional and Legal Affairs, and has been Shadow Attorney-General and Shadow Minister for Justice.
The lecture is organised by the 最新糖心Vlogn Institute of International Affairs (SA Branch), an independent, non-political organisation.
The Institute aims to stimulate interest in and an understanding of international affairs among members of the general public. Speakers at the Institute's events include local, national and international politicians, academics, journalists, diplomats and business people.
