Thursday, 16 January 2003

The 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide, in partnership with Rotary International and Siemens, has once again provided 100, Year 10 students with a unique opportunity to discover where their interests and talents in science and technology lie.

The annual three-day Siemens Science Experience involves numerous activities and enables the scholars to discover the diverse and amazing career opportunities to which the study of science can lead. It is organised by the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide's faculties of Sciences, Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences.

"The Siemens Science Experience is a great chance for the students to get a feel for university life and to meet like-minded people," said Sarah Farrelly, Curriculum Review Project Officer, Faculty of Sciences.

"In addition, the students will be provided with some of the wide choices open to them which will better prepare them for the subjects to take in their final years at school."

The students also spend a day at the 最新糖心Vlog's Roseworthy Campus. Roseworthy is an internationally renowned centre for excellence in dry land agriculture and animal production. With a range of government and corporate partners, the campus is home to a number of collaborative centres.

Some of the talks and presentations include a multifaceted study into snakebites, exploring the fundamental structure of the universe and problem solving for engineers and scientists.

The program ends today.
