It's not too late for more students if they want to study at university this year.

That's the message from the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide, which has today made a record number of offers for places in degree programs for 2011.

With university offers going out around the state tonight, the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide will have made 5450 offers to date for places in its undergraduate degree programs. This is compared with 5260 offers at the same time last year.

Students can check whether they have been made a first-round offer via the from 6.00pm tonight, in The Advertiser, or wait to receive a letter mailed to them this afternoon.

"This is an exciting time for many students and we hope that as many as possible have been successful in obtaining their degree of choice," says the Acting Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Mike Brooks.

"At the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide, we have experienced year-on-year growth in student numbers for nearly a decade, and this year looks set to continue that trend.

"But our message to potential students is simple: if you have not received an offer or have not yet applied, it's not too late. Places are still available in a range of programs and we are still accepting applications."

Degree programs in areas such as Humanities and Social Sciences, Commerce, Teaching and Science all have places available. Also, places are available in Engineering degree programs, which have an Adelaide Approved score of 80. This means any student with an ATAR of 80 or over who meets the pre-requisites will be guaranteed a place if they apply to Engineering.

"For students who have not made up their mind about study or who have missed out on their first preference, help is available," says the Manager of the 最新糖心Vlog's Prospective Students Office, Karen Pichlmann.

"If a student feels passionately about a particular area of study but has missed out on their first preference, there may be alternative pathways into their program of choice. Other students may have simply put off making the decision to apply to uni.

"Applying to university can be a difficult and sometimes confusing decision to make, especially with so many choices available. Our experienced Student Advisers are available to talk through the options."

Students wanting to enquire about late applications should call the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide's Student Centre: 08 8303 7335, or country callers can phone toll free on 1800 061 459.
