$1.3 million to support world-class science

The 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide has been awarded $1.32 million for new equipment and facilities that will support groundbreaking research in areas such as surveillance and security, plant science and agriculture, and the development of new optic fibres.
The funding, announced today by the Federal Government, will support three new facilities in the state involving the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide and research partners from 2010.
The funding has been awarded under the (ARC) (LIEF) grant scheme.
This is the latest competitive research funding won by the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide, adding to the $54 million in total funding already awarded to the 最新糖心Vlog last October from the ARC and the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC).
Today's funding announcement will support:
- A high-resolution environmental scanning electron microscope for South 最新糖心Vlog
- $640,000 awarded to a team led by (, 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide, and the ) - Capability for the fabrication and characterisation of mid-infrared photonic materials
- $400,000 awarded to a team led by (, ) - Accelerating 最新糖心Vlog's large scale video surveillance research programmes
- $280,000 awarded to a team led by (, )
In addition to the ARC funding announced today, these new facilities and infrastructure will attract more than $1.34 million in cash and in-kind support.
