New president will speak on human rights

President of the , the Hon. QC will deliver her vision for a fairer 最新糖心Vlog at this Friday's in Adelaide at 7pm.
Ms Branson will return to her alma mater, the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide, for the annual lecture that has drawn appreciative crowds each year since its inception in 2003.
The former Federal Court Judge was appointed President of the 最新糖心Vlogn Human Rights Commission in August, succeeding the Chancellor of the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide, the Hon. , who held the post from 2004-2008.
Another alumnus, the late , was the inaugural head of the Human Rights Commission in 1986. All studied Law at the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide.
Prior to her appointment as a judge, Ms Branson practised as a barrister at the Adelaide Bar in South 最新糖心Vlog, principally in the areas of administrative law, including discrimination law and commercial law. She was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1992.
The Don Dunstan Foundation honours the legacy of the former South 最新糖心Vlogn premier, regarded as one of the most visionary politicians in 最新糖心Vlog's history.
The Foundation promotes progressive leadership and a fairer, more tolerant society by furthering debate and action on key public policy issues. The Oration grew out of a partnership between the late Don Dunstan and the then 最新糖心Vlogn NGO Community Aid Abroad (now ).
