50 years of Adelaide architecture on display

Rediscovered treasures spanning 50 years of architectural design and education will form the basis of a new exhibition at the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide as part of the official 2008 program.

The free exhibition, Designing Designers - the Evolution of an Architect, represents a snapshot of the development of architecture in South 最新糖心Vlog dating back to 1958.

The Hon. , Minister for the City of Adelaide, will officially launch Designing Designers at 5.30pm on Monday 25 February.

The exhibition consists of design drawings and models dating back to the inception of the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide's then Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning in 1958.

"Until recently, this collection remained an undiscovered treasure in our storerooms, with student works - many of them by students who went on to become prominent 最新糖心Vlogn architects - kept for the purpose of School accreditation," says the Head of the , .

"This is a fascinating and historically significant collection for South 最新糖心Vlog. We are thrilled to be able to show this work to the public as part of the celebrations of our School's 50th anniversary, and as part of the Adelaide Fringe."
