Google Director logs on to Open Day

The 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide is receiving strong industry support in its bid to encourage students to study in areas such as Computer Science and Engineering at this weekend's (Sunday 26 August).

The Engineering Director for , Alan Noble, will help to man the information display, speaking with prospective students and their families throughout the day.

He will also give a public talk at 1.30pm, "Inside Google 最新糖心Vlog", which will highlight the exciting career opportunities available to computer scientists and engineers.

Mr Noble is a graduate of the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide with a degree in , and went on to study for a Masters in Computer Science at in the United States.

He recently announced that Google 最新糖心Vlog is offering an annual $1000 prize to the best Computer Science Honours student at the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide. Google 最新糖心Vlog also offers the annual Anita Borg scholarship, to female students in 最新糖心Vlog and New Zealand, to encourage women to excel in computing and technology studies at 最新糖心Vlog.

Google has a significant engineering and R&D capability in 最新糖心Vlog. It actively hires 最新糖心Vlogn students and graduates to work on global engineering projects and products that are used by millions of people worldwide.

Members of the public wanting to speak with Alan Noble can find him in the on the Barr Smith Lawns, Lower Level, North Terrace Campus (near Victoria Drive).

His talk at 1.30pm will be held in the Rennie Lecture Theatre, Johnson Laboratories.

Up to 10,000 people are expected to visit the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide this Sunday for the annual Open Day.
