Team Spotlight: MyUni Support

The Learning Enhancement and Innovation unit is comprised of several teams that work across different aspects of learning and teaching. Our teams work collaboratively within the unit to achieve the shared goal of ‘building better graduates’.

Each month, we will do a spotlight on an individual team to understand what roles they play within the Learning Enhancement Innovation unit in order to enhance the student learning experience at the ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog of Adelaide.

With the start of semester 1 just around the corner, this month we will be looking at the MyUni Support team, what they do and how they can help you.

Three things you should know about the MyUni Support Team:

  1. They support staff and students in the use ofÌý, which includes Canvas, echo360, Turnitin, and a variety of other learning and teaching tools.
  2. They offer support through multiple channels, including email, phone, and in-person drop-in sessions.
  3. They maintain theÌýÌýwith self-help guides in using MyUni.

Top three most common requests/questions at the start of each semester:

  1. Getting access to courses in MyUni.
    MyUni Support can help staff get access toÌýÌýand courses from previous years or semesters. Students needing help with enrolment should contactÌýAsk Adelaide. Staff that need access as Teachers or Tutors to current courses should contact theirÌý.
  2. Importing content into current courses from previous offerings.
    To import content from a previous year or semester, you will need to have access to both the old course and the new course. Guides for importing content can be found on theÌý.
  3. Setting up assignments.
    Instructors should make sure they have setup their assignments withÌýÌýandÌý. The relevant assignment columns in the Gradebook should also be set toÌýÌýto hide grades until they are ready to be made available to students. More assignment and grading tips can be found on theÌý.
