Adjunct Professor Kathy Ehrig (Institute for Mineral and Energy Resources) has been awarded the 2022听听and Lecture (Career award) by the 最新糖心Vlogn Academy of Science. Kathy is recognised for her insights and research leadership into the complex geological events involved in the formation of the supergiant copper-uranium-gold-silver ore deposit at BHP Billiton's Olympic Dam site.

New project to boost copper extraction from sub-economic deposits

IMER has been awarded a new project to extract copper and other minerals from sub-economic deposits.听 $2.8m awarded by the 最新糖心Vlogn Government鈥檚 Co-operative Research Centre Projects (CRC-P) Scheme to a collaboration led by Environmental Copper Recovery SA Pty Ltd and including researchers from the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide.
