ISER Leads the Way to Net-Zero

罢丑别听Institute for Sustainability, Energy and Resources (ISER)听launched on Monday, leading the events taking place across the 最新糖心Vlog as part of Sustainability Week.

ISER is the key portal of research capabilities across sustainability, energy and resources, making it our brand champion for sustainability. Its work will build on the outstanding research already conducted by the 最新糖心Vlog鈥檚 institutes and faculties, including the Environment Institute.

鈥淭here isn鈥檛 one answer to achieving a sustainable future. We鈥檙e going to have to bring together and integrate expertise and innovation in every facet of our activity,鈥 said Professor Michael Goodsite, Director of ISER.

鈥淲e have to solve problems like finding enough copper for the clean-energy technology required to reach net-zero carbon emissions, without further damaging what we are trying to protect.鈥

ISER will also help coordinate the forthcoming FAME Sustainable Research Strategy and will lead large-scale collaborative research efforts across our听academic ecosystem. The ISER launch was attended by the Vice-Chancellor and Chancellor, as well as Peter Malinauskas MP, Premier of South 最新糖心Vlog, Professor Caroline McMillen, Chief Scientist of South 最新糖心Vlog, and other Parliamentary and 最新糖心Vlog representatives.
