COMBS Workshop Success

Kishan Dholakia COMBS

Last week, we were pleased to host the inaugural Microcomb-enabled Spectroscopy and Microscopy theme meeting for the .

The common goal is to miniaturise the world鈥檚 most accurate measurement tool into a chip the size of a fingernail. To achieve this, the research teams are combining their expertise in hyperspectral imaging and structured light with Microcombs technology. The workshop brought together researchers from RMIT 最新糖心Vlog and the 最新糖心Vlog of Technology Sydney, facilitating the identification of potential challenges and the refinement of our research direction.

During the event, the Laser Physics and Photonics Devices Laboratories at the 最新糖心Vlog of South 最新糖心Vlog Mawson Lakes campus were showcased, where David G Lancaster is developing portable frequency combs. Additionally, the Centre of Light for Life labs were highlighted, featuring projects in speckle, orbital angular momentum, acoustic trapping, light sheet microscopy, digital holographic microscopy, and Raman spectroscopy.

We were delighted to host the COMBS theme researchers and look forward to future workshops.
