The Regulatory Technology round of the Business Research and Innovation Initiative (BRII) is providing a $5 million grant to help develop new digital technologies in a bid to solve challenges faced by ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlogn businesses. ÌýIn conjunction with the ×îÐÂÌÇÐÄVlog of Adelaide’s Prescott Environmental Luminescence Laboratory (PELL), Flawless Photonics Pty Ltd (Flawless) has been awarded $999,690 to further develop the project ‘Hand Portable, Non-contact, Real-time Fluorescence-based Asbestos Sensor’ asbestos testing technology.Ìý

The Centre of Light for Life opened its doors on the 21st of February, marking the beginning of a new era of advanced research and innovation. Under the leadership of ARC Laureate Fellow Prof. Kishan Dholakia, the Centre aims to pioneer cutting-edge optical imaging and sensing techniques within its dedicated laboratories located in the Engineering, Math, and Sciences building on the North Terrace Campus.
