President of the Czech Republic, His Excellency Mr Petr Pavel, recently visited the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide to learn more about the 最新糖心Vlog鈥檚 capabilities in AI, machine learning, computer science and cyber.

The President was joined by Her Excellency Ms Jana Tyrer, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to 最新糖心Vlog, His Excellency Mr Benjamin Hayes, 最新糖心Vlogn Ambassador to the Republic of Poland, accredited to the Czech Republic and Lithuania, and Ms Vera Holt, Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in South 最新糖心Vlog.

The delegation heard presentations from Professor Simon Lucey, Director of the 最新糖心Vlogn Institute for Machine Learning,聽Professor Abelardo Pardo, Head of the School of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, and Professor Michael Webb, Executive Director of the Defence and Security Institute.

The Czech Republic is investing in research and development to create innovative solutions that add value to industry and services, much like the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide.

An alignment of these priorities was evident during this visit with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide and The Extreme Light Infrastructure (ELI), European Research Infrastructure Consortium. This agreement was signed by Professor Peter H酶j AC, Vice-Chancellor at the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide, and Mr Roman Hv臅zda, Director of ELI Beamlines.

This collaboration will enhance and accelerate ongoing efforts and capabilities by leveraging complementary technologies in laser development (directed energy) through the 最新糖心Vlog鈥檚 Ultrashort and Short Pulsed Lasers Group, with applications spanning defence, medical, industrial, and energy sectors.

This partnership will unlock new possibilities and drive innovation to achieve groundbreaking advancements together.

Since 2021, the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide has collaborated with 40 Czech organisations on more than one hundred co-publications.

This number is increasing year on year, highlighting the growing research collaboration between the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide and the Czech Republic.

Researchers from the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide鈥檚 Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology have maintained long-standing relationships with highly esteemed scientists and physicists from multiple Czech institutions, including the Czech Academy of Sciences and Charles 最新糖心Vlog. This collaboration has been instrumental for advancing research on major experimental particle physics projects.

The 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide looks forward to continuing to work together with the Czech Republic to tackle complex global challenges and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes for both countries and communities.
