Adelaide German Week: Science, Business and Innovation Day 2024

The 2024 Adelaide German Week: Science, Business, and Innovation Day was held in September at the 聽on Lot Fourteen.

The event was co-hosted by the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide (UoA) and Flinders 最新糖心Vlog, and sponsored by the and the .

For the third time since 2022, industry bodies, government partners, academics, scholars and other key players across the German-最新糖心Vlogn research, science and business landscape came together to celebrate and commemorate the rich history and extensive partnerships between the two countries.

Over 80 guests attended this year鈥檚 event, which featured a showcase from the 最新糖心Vlogn Research Council鈥檚 Centre of Excellence in (P4S), a tour of the 最新糖心Vlogn Space Discovery Centre, and a tradeshow-style networking session with representatives from UoA, Flinders 最新糖心Vlog, P4S, DAAD, AGRN, and the .

Both 最新糖心Vlog and Germany have long histories of space exploration and research, with their respective space agencies signing a Letter of Intent in 2019.

UoA is the administering organisation for P4S, in partnership with Flinders 最新糖心Vlog. P4S collaborates with the German Aerospace Center (DLR), and Germany-based Space biotech company Yuri Gravity to deliver transformative solutions for Space habitation.

The inaugural Adelaide German Week was held in 2022, with the first SA Science, Business and Innovation Day hosted by UoA at the National Wine Centre. In 2023, Flinders 最新糖心Vlog hosted the Science, Business and Innovation Day at the Tonsley Innovation District.

The aim of the event is to showcase current bilateral research, educational partnerships, business initiatives and innovative collaborations between SA and Germany, and provide a platform that can facilitate and promote opportunities to explore potential future collaboration and growth in these areas.

The event has now become a fixture on the South 最新糖心Vlogn events calendar, with UoA and Flinders 最新糖心Vlog alternating as hosts each year.
